Testimonials

The kind words below are from product leaders, engineers, and designers I have worked with.

Tony transformed Guide AI into an exceptional user experience, grounded in deep user research.

Karim Tantawy, Group Product Manager

Tony played a critical role in the success of the DX Showcase across data, workflows, and scripting. The results were great because of his contributions.

Shawn Meyer, VP, Engineering

Couldn’t ask for better leaders on the team. I love working with Tony and appreciate how we collaborate across engineering, product, and design.

Jordan Weiner, Senior Software Engineer

The Voice & Tone Coach GPT Tony built has been incredibly useful, even for people who don’t normally use AI.

Joshua De La Cruz, Staff Product Designer

FAQs

Questions? Here’s what hiring teams usually ask before we talk.

  • What kind of role are you looking for?

A lead product design role on a product team. I do my best work close to the problem, with engineers and PMs in the room. Also open to Design Manager roles if the team and mission are right.

  • What does your design process look like?

Start from the user problem, not the screen. Prototype early, test with real people, and let the data settle the debates. I ship in small, verifiable steps.

  • Do you write code?

Yes. I build production-quality front-end and prototype in real code, which keeps design and engineering honest with each other and closes the gap between intent and what ships.

  • How do you work with engineers and PMs?

As partners, not handoffs. I bring engineering into design early, write the rationale down, and stay involved through build so decisions survive contact with reality.

  • Async or in-person?

Comfortable fully remote and async-default, with the syncs that actually move work forward. Happy to be on-site when a team is co-located.

  • What are you looking for in a team?

High standards and genuinely kind people who care about other people. I am also looking to own product outcomes, not just design deliverables.

Let’s talk.

Tell me about the role and team, whether it’s a product design lead, IC, or something in between, and I’ll get back to you.

I typically respond within 48 hours during business days.
